The Spruce Moose Lodge consists of a B&B in the main house, several cottages and a couple of holiday homes. It is located about 3 blocks from the main street of North Conway, in a pretty setting amongst the trees – and in Autumn it is particularly beautiful.
We have Cottage 3 – a green timber cottage with open plan living/kitchen/dining and lounge plus 2 bedrooms. It is an old fashioned place but it’s comfortable.
One bedroom has a sturdy wooden 4-poster queen bed with a good mattress, side tables and side lamps, a wooden dresser and plenty of hooks to hang belongings.
The second bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with double-bed size on the bottom and singles on the top. There is also a timber dresser.
The kitchen/dining area is spacious and we do our own cooking – there is an upright stove (cooktop and oven), microwave, fridge, and a separate small table with tea, coffee, kettle and coffee machine.
The small bathroom includes a shower, basin and toilet. Liquid soap is provided. Towels are on a towel rail in an alcove outside the bathroom.
The lounge room has a couple of large two-seater sofas, coffee table, television and a gas fireplace. There is a bookshelf with games, books for our use.
The cottage is kept warm with panel heaters along the floor.
Parking is very close to our cottage.
