Arriving in Reykjavik on an early morning international flight, we had booked Town Apartment for two nights.

The owner of the apartment met us at the apartment (#304), gave us the keys and showed us around. We were very happy with the accommodation – it was a brand new, spacious and very comfortable two-bedroom apartment in an excellent location – a short walk to Reykjavik’s main street.

Living Room

The living room was quite large and included a dining table for four, a sofa and a couple of chairs, a flat screen TV, a small coffee table and a couple of side tables. A glass door opened onto a small balcony. We could see Reykjavik’s famous Hallgrimur Church from the living room.

Kitchen

The modern kitchen had quality European appliances and was well equipped. There was plenty of bench space with kettle, coffee machine and some condiments for our use. It was important for us to have a kitchen as we found eating out in Iceland to be expensive.

Bedroom 1

The main bedroom was a good size with queen bed, bedside tables and lamps, plus a wardrobe the length of one wall.

Bedroom 2

The second bedroom was quite small and had a double bed, small wardrobe and one bedside table and lamp. There was also a fold up single bed in the corner of the room and a small window (could be opened for fresh air).

Bathroom

The bathroom included a shower over the bath, basin and toilet.

Laundry

The laundry included washing machine, dryer and large basin. There was also cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket).

Parking

We were able to park in a secure car park under the apartment building and there was lift access to the apartment.

Town Apartment – Highly Recommended

We had a very comfortable stay in Reykjavik. The apartment was lovely and warm, with big windows and plenty of natural light. It was spotlessly clean and conveniently located. We can highly recommend this accommodation.
