The apartments are very good value for money, are conveniently located to the city and Fortitude Valley, are clean, fresh and well equipped. We can highly recommend a stay.
Pavilion on Brookes is a security building: we had a key to get into the building, an electronic tag to access our floor, and an electronic tag to access the garage.
We had a two-bedroom apartment on the 1st floor.
On entering the apartment, there was a twin bedroom on our right accessed through double sliding doors, and on our left was a bathroom. The bathroom had a shower, basin and toilet plus a washing machine and dryer.
We then walked into an open plan kitchen/living room. The kitchen was well equipped, had a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and oven.
The living room had a sofa, coffee table and television with Foxtel. Double sliding glass doors opened onto a balcony with an outdoor table and 4 chairs, overlooking the RNA Showground.
Off the living room there was another bedroom with queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom.
The apartment had timber-look laminated floors in the living area and carpet in the bedrooms. A modern feature were the ceilings of polished concrete.
For hot Brisbane summers there’s a fan and an air-conditioner in each bedroom and the living room.
There is free WIFI in the apartments, hairdryers, toiletries, iron and ironing board.
The apartments are non-smoking however smoking is allowed on outside balconies provided doors are closed between the balcony and the apartment.
Guests have access to a beautiful communal roof top terrace (open between 7am and 10pm) that has wonderful views over the city and outdoor dining facilities including a BBQ.
For $25 extra per day we were able to park in the secure car park on the ground floor.
Pavilion on Brookes is part of the Direct Hotels & Apartments group that also have properties in Emerald, Mackay, the Sunshine Coast and Moranbay.
